The main structure of the screw conveyor is composed of a drive wheel, a tensioning wheel and a flexible traction member, and therefore, they are generally referred to as a conveying device having a flexible traction member. The screw conveyor is different in that it uses a rigid spiral as a component to complete the material transport. It is generally referred to as a transport device with rigid "traction" members. The screw conveyor has simple structure, small cross-sectional dimension, good sealing performance, firm operation, low production cost, convenient center loading and unloading, reversible conveying direction, and simultaneous transportation in opposite directions. Stirring, mixing, heating and cooling of the material can also be carried out during the transport. The material flow can be adjusted through the loading and unloading gate. However, it is not advisable to transport easily deformed, viscous, agglomerated and bulky materials. During the conveying process of the screw conveyor, the material is easily broken, and the spiral and the trough are easy to wear. The unit power is large. In use, the tightness of the trough should be adhered to and the gap between the spiral and the trough should be appropriate.
Debugging steps and processes of the screw conveyor
First, carefully adjust the conveyor after each equipment installation, satisfied with the requirements of the drawings.
Second, each reducer, moving parts are filled with the corresponding lubricant.
3. After the device conveyor arrives at the request, each single equipment is manually tested, and combined to debug the conveyor to meet the requirements of satisfactory operation.
Fourth, debug the electrical part of the conveyor. It includes the commissioning of conventional electrical wiring and actions to make the equipment outstanding and to achieve the intended function and condition.
